Directional Drilling Capabilities & HDD Fleet

Based out of Fort Worth, Get It Dug operates an industrial-grade horizontal directional drilling (HDD) fleet designed specifically for high-precision, low-impact trenchless utility installations across the DFW Metroplex. Our specialized boring rigs deliver the perfect balance of compact footprint and high torque, making them ideal for navigating tight commercial easements, established rights-of-way, and sensitive municipal job sites.

  • Compact Footprint, High-Torque Performance

  • Easement-Friendly Design: Our rigs are explicitly selected to operate within narrow utility easements, alleys, and confined commercial zones where massive, heavy equipment cannot track.

  • Surface Protection: High-flotation rubber tracks minimize ground pressure, preventing costly damage to asphalt, concrete driveways, and commercial turf.

  • Optimized Fluid Systems: Onboard high-capacity mud pumps ensure efficient borehole stabilization and clean cuttings extraction, even when drilling through difficult North Texas geologies.

Precision Subsurface Guidance & Safety Tracking

Every foot of our bore path is meticulously tracked in real-time. We leave nothing to guesswork.

  • Walkover Locating Electronics: Our drill operators utilize advanced electronic walkover tracking systems to monitor the exact depth, pitch, and roll of the bore head at all times.

  • Grade-Sensitive Drills: Need a precise slope for a gravity-fed sewer main tie-in? Our digital tracking allows us to maintain the strict percentage pitches required by plumbing codes.

  • Damage Prevention: We strictly coordinate with Texas 811 and conduct visual potholing of existing critical utilities before rotating the drill bit, entirely eliminating the risk of accidental utility strikes.

Engineered for North Texas Geology
From the brutal, shifting black clay of Fort Worth and Arlington to the harder rock formations found across Tarrant and Parker Counties, our drilling setups are continuously tuned for regional ground conditions. We deploy specialized tooling, specialized drill bits, and precise bentonite mud mixtures to ensure a clean, stable hole every single time.
